Vidar Busk (NO)

Vidar Busk is a famous Norwegian guitarist, singer, songwriter and record producer in the genres of blues, rock and soul. He grew up in a small town named Langesund but moved to the United States as a 15-year old to play in the band of the American blues artist Rock Bottom. He toured the USA for several years before returning to Norway in 1990. In 1996 he started his own band, Vidar Busk & His True Believers and released their first cd “Stompin Our Feet With Joy” in 1997. This album got great critics all over Scandinavia. Vidar Busk & His True Believers released a total of three albums during their fantastic time. They played all the great clubs and festivals in Europe and were often in newspapers, television and magazines. Vidar Busk received several blues awards during this period. But in the beginning of the year 2000 the band broke up. Vidar started to work on other music projects far from The True Believers style.

He released three pop / rock records, “Love Buzz”, “Venus Texas” and “Starfish”. Great critics and a new fan base far from the traditional blues audience. Vidar also plays rock in the spirit of Jimi Hendrix, jazz, country etc. When it comes to music, Vidar can play everything. He is a real guitar hero, one of the best in the business.
